How to cook

Spiral Sliced Hams

Cook's Spiral Sliced Hams are fully cooked and are delicious served cold. If you would like to serve the ham warm, follow the directions below.

Heating Ham

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Remove all packaging materials and place ham face on wire rack in shallow roasting pan, FLAT SIDE DOWN.
  3. Add 1/2 inch of water to the bottom of the pan.
  4. Cover pan tightly with aluminum foil.
  5. Heat for approximately 14-16 minutes per pound or until it reaches an internal temperature of 120°F.
  6. Remove ham from oven and enjoy!

Glazing Ham

  1. Allow ham to stand, covered, for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove aluminum foil from pan.
  3. Massage the packet to gently blend the glaze.
  4. Cut one corner off the glaze packet and squeeze glaze evenly over the top of ham.
  5. If desired, use a knife or brush to spread glaze between slices.
  6. Allow glaze to melt into the ham before serving.

TIP:

  • Glaze may be applied directly from packet. We recommend that the refrigerated glaze packet be warmed slightly in one of the following ways to help soften the contents prior to application: Microwave: place packet in small microwave safe dish and warm on high for 40 seconds. Warm Water: hold glaze packet under warm tap water for 40 seconds or until glaze is softened.
